In hydraulic systems pressure is a parameter for the transferred energy and  thus one of the values constantly monitored. In lubrication circuits, to monitor the pressure is important to prove if the distribution of lubricant to the individual bearings is sufficient.

Depending on the size of the system the measuring points can be remote from the display location. Traditionally, in such cases the design of the pressure switches require to lead pipes or hoses from the measuring point to the controller with display.

Buhler’s invention is to eliminate the need for pipes or hoses. We have replaced them by simple cable thus reducing the risk of leakages and plus reduce the installation cost significantly.
