DC Versions of Bühlers Sample Gas Pumps Series P1... now available with IP 20 Cover.

Sample gas pumps from Bühler Technologies, the leading supplier of sample conditioning components for gas analysis, have been the powerful heart-beat of analytical systems around the world for over 50 years.

Both OEMs and end users appreciate the rugged design, corrosion resistant materials and the resultant long service life paired with low operating costs of these devices. The DC driven versions of the P1.xx  are now available with an IP 20 protection cover, thus making the pump series even more versatile for the user. The P1.1 and the P1.1E are designed for direct installation in stationary or mobile analysis systems in safe areas. While P1.1 has an open electric drive equaling class IP 00, the P1.1E comes with a vented cover which has IP 20 protection class and can be employed as a stand-alone unit.

 

The P1.2 and 1.2E Series are suitable for flammable gases in equipment group II, equipment category 3G, gas group IIB and temperature class T4 and are immediately available for delivery. This expansion of the range enables sampling a large group of gases with flammable components and solvents, for example methane in biogas or processes containing ethanol. The ATEX code is II 3G/- c IIB T4.

 

For hazardous areas ATEX, IECEx and FM C-US P1.3 is an important criteria and is available for various protection areas and classes. All versions are available with an integrated adjustable by-pass valve. This allows operators to pre-set flow rates below the maximum flow of 280 Nl/h and eliminates the need for separate regulators.

Pumps of the P1.xx series feature the same one piece PTFE basic bellow design as all Bühler sample gas pumps. All other wetted parts are made from PTFE or equally resistant materials. The power supply is either 115V/60Hz , 230V/50 Hz AC or 12/24VDC. The IP 20 cover also provides a 3m flying lead for power connection.

All pumps have a compact design and are easy to install.
