Large crowds and high spirits at our trade fair stand

Many thanks to all the guests that visited our stand in such large numbers over the course of the trade fair. We are very pleased with the positive response to our new products as well as the many suggestions and requests. In fact they confirmed to us that we have understood both the current market trends and the most pressing issues and needs of our customers and partners.

You weren’t able to visit us at ACHEMA 2018 or could only stop by briefly? We’ve compiled all the highlights for you:

Sample gas probes – less maintenance, increased safety

Explosion protection remains both an important and urgent challenge for broad sections of the industry. And that’s also true for the Research & Development department at Bühler Technologies GmbH; now with their new sample gas probes, they are once again setting new standards with regard to the reduction of costs and effort and an increase in safety.
What makes the new sample gas probes so valuable for operators and staff working on systems in areas at risk of explosion?
Dr. Claus-Peter Jellen, Product Manager at the worldwide headquarters of Bühler Technologies in Ratingen, North Rhine-Westphalia, explains the improvements and their advantages for users:
„Our already very comprehensive range of sample gas probes now also includes models for zones 1+2, both with ATEX and IECEx approval. Process streams in this dangerous environment with low to moderate particle concentration as well as those with high dust loads will benefit from the easy filter change or the particularly efficient blowback system of in-situ filters. Both factors significantly reduce the maintenance required in these critical areas of use.”
We at Bühler Technologies are very pleased that the improvements not only satisfy the growing safety requirements of our customers, but also meet the desire for efficiency.

Gas cooler – improved performance with maximum safety

Operators of systems in many branches of the industry have been very pleased that Bühler Technologies has completely reworked its range of gas coolers and adapted it even more selectively to the current performance requirements.
And that’s not all: the range of gas coolers now offers solutions for Zones 1 + 2 with ATEX and IECEx approval as well as Class I, Division 2 for the US market.
Managing Director Frank Pospiech explains the background to the improvements: “In order to maintain the confidence of our international customers in our quality, safety and efficiency, we’ve always believed that no effort is too great. Really it goes without saying how heavily manufacturing quality and system safety depends on the timely and precise monitoring of the operating and process parameters. And that’s not forgetting the growing requirements for explosion protection and environmental protection, which Bühler Technologies wants to be fully compliant with in all markets.
In gas analysis, sample gas coolers effectively protect the valuable analysers from condensate and similar substances. That’s reason enough to think carefully when selecting them. In addition, the option to optimise scrubbing as offered by Bühler Technologies opens up new opportunities for improvement for a number of applications.
One such improvement is the upgrade to the peristaltic condensate pump for use in areas at risk of explosions. “CPsingle X1” and “CPdouble X1” (both for the “Ex-zone Zone 1”)  or “CPsingle X2” and “CPdouble X2” (both for the “Ex-zone Zone 2”).

Sample gas pumps – as individual as they are comprehensive

Production processes are so diverse nowadays that the range of sample gas pumps from Bühler Technologies is now also comprehensively covering individual requirements within proven technologies. Yet they all have one thing in common - the highest quality materials, workmanship and service.
“Measuring accuracy is simply too important to our customers for us to compromise on it, so we don’t”, summarises Product Manager Dr. Claus-Peter Jellen when explaining what is required of Bühler Technologies as a leading specialist in analytics technology. “Sample gas analysis systems require sample gas pumps if the process pressure is not sufficient to safely transport adequate volumes of sample gas to the analysers. The often corrosive and aggressive nature of the sample gas puts high demands on the properties of the material. Furthermore, the pumps must also be able to easily transport potential condensate.
Both sample gas pumps and condensate pumps are available from Bühler Technologies for different protection classes per ATEX, IECEx or FM C-US as well as Class1 Div 2.
Depending on the installation type and protection class, these sample gas pumps are available with and without housing or for the separate installation of the pump head and motor. There is also a large range of options for discharging condensate occurring in sample gas conditioning. “Our bellows pumps have proven to be particularly suitable for this challenging area of application”, says Jellen.
We’re already looking forward to working with you again in the future.
